Privacy Policy

Last updated August 11, 2026

Introduction

GELRAD respects your privacy and handles personal information in a way that is intended to be clear, proportionate, and appropriate to the services we provide.

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through gelrad.com and related GELRAD activities, why we use it, who we may share it with, how long we retain it, and the rights that may apply to you.

Who is responsible for your information

gelrad.com is operated by GELRAD, LLC, 6677 Gulf of Mexico Drive, Longboat Key, FL 34228, USA.

GELRAD, LLC is responsible for personal information collected through this website, including website inquiries, course registrations, marketing preferences, and other globally managed website data.

Where GELRAD Europe Limited independently processes personal information for UK or European contracting, service delivery, invoicing, statutory obligations, or related business purposes, it acts as a separate data controller for that processing.

GELRAD Europe Limited
46 Brighton Road
Horley
England RH6 7HD
United Kingdom
Company no. 05343452
VAT no. GB 872 1691 11

Personal information may be shared between GELRAD entities where necessary to respond to inquiries, administer training, deliver services, or manage customer relationships.

Information we may collect

  • Name and contact details, including work email
  • Organization and professional information
  • Inquiry and communication information
  • Course registration and attendee information
  • Payment and transaction information or payment status
  • Attendance and completion information
  • Certification records
  • Feedback
  • Marketing preferences
  • Limited technical, security, and website information

GELRAD does not intentionally collect more personal information than needed for the relevant purpose.

How we use personal information

  • Respond to inquiries
  • Register and administer courses, workshops, and services
  • Deliver consulting, training, coaching, and related services
  • Process payments and maintain accounting records
  • Send confirmations, joining information, and calendar invitations
  • Record attendance and completion
  • Issue and verify certificates and training records
  • Collect and analyze feedback
  • Maintain customer and business records
  • Protect systems
  • Meet legal, tax, accounting, regulatory, and contractual obligations
  • Send marketing where the person has opted in or another lawful basis permits it

Marketing is separate from service communications. Giving us your details for an inquiry or course booking does not automatically subscribe you to GELRAD marketing.

Our lawful bases

Where UK GDPR or similar law applies, GELRAD expects principally to rely on:

  • Contract or steps before entering a contract: when information is needed to respond to a request, arrange a course or service, or meet an agreed commitment.
  • Legitimate interests: when processing is reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and administer GELRAD's services and relationships, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
  • Legal obligation: when information must be processed to meet tax, accounting, regulatory, or other legal requirements.
  • Consent: when you have made a clear, optional choice, including where consent is required for marketing or a particular use.

Marketing communications

Marketing opt-in is optional and separate from an inquiry or booking. It will not be pre-selected. You may unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time.

Who we share information with

Where necessary for the purposes described in this policy, information may be shared with:

  • GELRAD entities and personnel
  • HubSpot, which provides the Contact form
  • Google reCAPTCHA, which helps protect the Contact form from abuse
  • Google Workspace and Google Calendar
  • Payment providers
  • Website, hosting, email, security, and technology providers
  • Professional advisers
  • Government, regulatory, tax, or law-enforcement authorities where legally required

International processing and transfers

GELRAD operates internationally. Personal information may therefore be processed in the United States, United Kingdom, or other countries in which GELRAD or its service providers operate.

Where data protection law restricts international transfers, GELRAD will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism or safeguard.

How long we keep information

  • General inquiries that do not become an ongoing relationship: 2 years after last meaningful contact
  • Customer and client relationship records: 6 years after the relationship ends
  • Course booking and administrative records: 6 years
  • Payment and accounting records: 7 years, or longer where legally required
  • Course feedback: 3 years, unless anonymized earlier
  • Website and security logs: normally 30 to 90 days, subject to operational need
  • Marketing preference records: while subscribed, plus a minimal suppression record after opt-out
  • Training completion and certification verification record: retained indefinitely in minimal form

Long-term training verification retains only information reasonably needed to confirm attendance, completion, or certification, such as a name, course or program, completion date, certificate reference, and limited disambiguating information.

Associated payment information, feedback, and unnecessary booking correspondence will not be retained indefinitely merely because the training record is retained.

Feedback and testimonials

Feedback may be used internally or publicly in anonymized form. GELRAD will not attribute feedback to a person, employer, or identifiable organization without appropriate permission.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, your rights may include:

  • Access
  • Correction
  • Erasure
  • Restriction
  • Objection
  • Portability
  • Withdrawal of consent
  • Complaint to a regulator

For UK matters, you may also contact the UK Information Commissioner's Office. Contact GELRAD first if you would like us to address a concern directly.

Security

GELRAD uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet system can guarantee absolute security.

Cookies and similar technologies

See our Cookie Policy for information about cookies and similar technologies. GELRAD currently intends to keep tracking to a minimum. New non-essential tracking will be reviewed before activation.

Changes to this policy

Updates to this Privacy Policy will be published on this page with the latest update date.
